When Courtney Rothkop started BBTA, there were very few women-owned accounting practices. Courtney saw that many small business owners struggled to manage their business and personal finances, and were talked down to rather than educated by their accountants.

Courtney set out to build a tax & accounting practice that would empower small business owners to take control of their financial futures -- and where her employees would find support in balancing their careers and family lives.

Twenty-five years later, BBTA serves clients across the country and around the world with Courtney's attention to detail and customer care. BBTA Tax Advisors has over 2,000 individual tax clients in 30 states and 14 countries, and manages the tax & accounting needs of businesses with a combined revenue over $100M.
