Q: Can you answer a quick tax question for me?
A: As a licensed and insured full-service tax and accounting firm, we are only able provide tax advice to our clients. If you are already a BBTA client, please call or email us to book a meeting with one of our Senior accountants. If you would like to become a BBTA client, let us know and we will send an engagement letter and retainer agreement for you to review. If you are only looking to get answers to a specific tax question, and are not interesting in an ongoing relationship, we are not the right firm for you.
Q: Are you taking on new clients?
Yes, we are taking on new clients! To become a new client, get in touch by email, phone, or through the contact form on this website. As federally-licensed tax preparers, we work with clients across the country and around the world. Once you are a client, you can meet with us virtually or in-person at our Metro Detroit and Ann Arbor offices.
Q: How much will it cost to prepare my taxes?
It depends on how complicated your tax return is! A basic return for a W2 employee starts at $350 and increases based on time and complexity. Because each taxpayer's situation is unique, we don't provide fixed-price quotes. The best way to estimate the price of your tax preparation is for us to have a look at your last return. Q: How do I know if BBTA is the right firm for me?
We realize that choosing an accountant is a big decision. If you are looking to have your personal taxes prepared, we can schedule a 15-minute phone call to talk about your tax situation and how we can help. If you own a business, we would like to arrange a longer meeting to learn more about your personal and business finances, your current situation, and your goals.
